As IOT/Automation System Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Autonomously addressing IT/OT incidents, problems and changes within the Customer IT/OT infrastructure;
  • Autonomously resolving L2/L3 technical incidents and problems;
  • Monitoring and managing large IT and/or OT infrastructures and systems;
  • Advising on IT/OT infrastructure-related projects and changes;
  • Writing and Revision of technical documentation (URS, Functional Specification, Hardware Design Specification, Software Design specification, etc...)
  • Proactively supporting Process Automation systems design, upgrade and integration projects (SCADA, DCS, PLC, etc...)
  • Supporting the preparation of project documents and processes in reference to maintenance and upgrade projects (DUVRI, HSE documentation, access control requests, etc)
  • Preparation of reports, presentations, technical reports, etc...
  • Surveying and inspecting Manufacturing areas
  • Supervising installations and technical tasks
  • Coordinating and executing Enterprise Pharma Customers transformation/integration/evolution/M&A projects
  • Coordinating and executing Enterprise Pharma Customers Quality Assurance and Control related projects
  • Keeping up-to-date with both Customer and Internal standard operating procedures and best practices
  • Keeping up-to-date the project documentation
  • Tracking activities and deviations
  • Contributing in assuring the Customer satisfaction
  • Generating new leads when applicable

Requirements:

  • Experience in Industrial Automation Integration or Engineering:
    • Process Automation systems design, upgrade and integration projects (SCADA, DCS, PLC, etc...)
    • Supervising installations and technical tasks
    • Preparation of reports, presentations, technical reports, etc...
    • Surveying and inspecting Manufacturing areas
    • troubleshooting, workaround identification and application, solution definition
    • 2 years or more in role: 1-2 years = Junior; 3-5 years = Mid; 6 years more = Senior
  • Proactive approach
  • Creative/innovation-keen approach
  • Dynamic and willing to learn and mature professionally 
  • Teamwork-oriented
  • Language: Italian C1+ and English B2+
  • Right to live and work in EU/Italy

Desired pharma-specific knowledge (optional):

  • Understanding of major Pharma regulations (FDA 21 CFR parts 11, 210 & 211, part 80)
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Procedures (EUDRALEX GMP).
  • Experience in management and follow-up of Commissioning and Pre-Commissioning Activities.
  • SCADA Systems Planning, Integration, Commissioning, Maintaining, Upgrade.
  • Direct and Managed Control systems (PLC, Acquisition and User Experience levels) Planning - Blueprinting - Layout delivery.
  • Experience in Projects Risk Management.
  • FAT/SAT protocols editing and execution.
